Bummer on Rejection! I've had that on my physical TBR for awhile. My local bookstore does a BOTM and that was one of the picks. I still may have to give it a go!
Definitely advise you to make up your own mind about it as the premise of multiple short rejection stories is cool, I just personally struggled with the initial two characters but it’s so subjective!
There’s 4 books on your May list that I’ve been eyeballing! May was a bit of a tough one I struggled I bit too! Mainly because it had a lot of end of year school activities and as a parent it’s sooo hard to adjust to summer once school ends.
I read 8 books and don’t work so I’m impressed with what you were able to read and review! My most surprising read was The Harvester by Gene Stratton Porter. Older classic I was surprised I never read in high school. I enjoyed it. My favorite read was When Stone Wings Fly by retired National Park Ranger Karen Barnett. Historical Fiction set in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee.
I read 7 with 2 DNF , 3 memoirs , 2 thrillers , 1 historical fiction and 1 romance
Also...."only" read 6 books :)
🫣 maybe I need to be less harsh on myself

Yes, May is a tough month for everyone it seems - Students, teachers, workers alike! Hopefully we’ll be able to chill and read more in June

Reading about the Smokey mountains of Tennessee is definitely calling my name after a recent trip to the area! Thanks for the recco & comment 💫
